WE HAVE A TENTATIVE DATE FOR SELECTION: MONDAY 14 MARCH 2016

WHO OF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

WE WILL NEED 3 MINIMUM.

also give me an indication on what your status is regarding the mods… do you have the full modline of the special one?

I just do not have the time take it seriously and do not want to waste your time.

Hopefully in the future I can go through selection.

The date on this post will be for the first of three phases of selection. The other phases will be scheduled afterwards, most probably on the same day of the week in the following week, but discussion of all three phases for this class is discussed here.

Please Note: As a ZA Member, you are expected to behave in a disciplined fashion, adhere to a set of specific rules, and maintain sufficient attendance at the General Events. If you don’t think you can do that, please don’t sign up.

Date: Monday, 14 March 2016
Time: 20:00 form up, 20:30 start
Location: Zulu-Alpha.co.za Special Server
Signing Up: You will need to register in this topic before 13 March 2016. Please note that if you put your name down, you are committing to attend. If you don’t put your name down by 13 March 2016, you will not be allowed to attend.
Note: Late comers and people with missing mods will simply be dropped from selection. You are expected to have working TFAR and Arma 3. If you are having issues, find someone to help you sort them out before selection commences. Non-working TFAR is grounds for dropping you from Selection.

There is a pre-selection briefing (see below) at which these things can be sorted out. If you can’t make that, contact me, and make arrangements to test.

We will also be holding a pre-selection briefing on Sunday 13 March 2016, at 19:00. This will be your opportunity to test your systems and make sure you have the correct mods and settings in place. We will run you through some of the rules and give you a few tips on how you can improve your chances of success.

If you have the main mod-line, then that is great, but for selection you will only need the special mod line, which you can get here: http://srv1.zulu-alpha.co.za/repo/main(2)/.a3s/autoconfig

I hate to pull out at the last minute, but I realise it is unfair for me to waste ZA’s time and effort with a candidate who cannot commit to the training and missions expected of me on a regular basis.

I am Captaining a DGL CS:GO team this year which means practice every evening, and I am going to have to put in a lot of extra time to make us succeed.

I wish all the best of luck for the Candidates who are going through Selection tonight, and I hope ZA stays strong and keeps going for a long time.

Jay will need to repeat Phase 1 due to technical difficulties.

We are having phase 1 again this following Monday (21st of March), due to the low attendance. We will be proactively going out to reach people to make sure everyone knows this. We believe that we have been unclear with our communications about selection, so we are going to be much more verbose and clear this time round.
