SOP
Active membership
- To remain an active member, a member must attend a minimum of 1 or 1/3 (whichever is greatest) of the general event(s) in any given block (see Overall SOP for definitions).
- If that member fails to meet the above requirement, then that member will be declared inactive and not be allowed to attend general events, with the exception of the training general events for the purposes of evaluation.
- In order for a member to become active again, that member must attend a general training event, and report to a member of HQ, who will become that member’s evaluator, or can ask any other member to be the evaluator.
- Whether or not the inactive member in question is declared active again is solely dependent on the evaluators choice, which can be informed by any test the evaluator deems necessary, including requiring the member to attend other general training events or even to re-do selection before coming to a final decision on re-activation.
- If the inactive member is denied re-activation, that member may appeal the decision at the following block’s general training event, or by contacting a member of HQ after the event of the initial denial.
Teams
- A team is a broad description for a group of members who wish to form and maintain a permanent unit, whose purpose is to allow those members to perform at a higher level of capability and competence, and to enhance the overall quality of the ZA group and its capabilities.
- Teams must continue to meet specific requirements (see below) in order to remain in existence. If a team fails to meet those requirements, it will be put on notice, and if it’s requirements are still not met, it is liable to be disbanded by the Organizational office.
- Each team has a leader, who is responsible for the maintenance of the team and the management (including recruitment and dismissal) of its members.
- In order for a team to be created, a prospective leader with the minimal rank of Corporal (Cpl) must request to lead a team and specify which type from the head of this office (see Ranks for details).
- If ZA has the capacity and requirement for another team of that type, then the head of this office will create the team and provide instructions to the new team lead on how to join it.
- If a team is disbanded, it’s former leader must wait one week before being able to request a team again.
