1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 18:00 hrs
Lighting: Last light: 19:15
Weather: 300m Visibility, Sandstorm in progress
Coalition forces have been involved in peace keeping and humanitarian operations in Takistan, with Zulu-Alpha responsible for operations in Zargabad. Recently, insurgency operations by ISIS have been in frequent, with Intelligence suspecting that they are gathering forces for a major operation, but it was not known where. Today, while Dragon’2 of Zulu-Alpha was conducting a humanitarian mission in central Zargabad, a sand storm swept the region and ISIS forces seized the opportunity to ambush Dragon’2 and take control of Zargabad.

AO A. Enemy Forces: Not much is known number and disposition of ISIS forces in Zargabad, other than that they numbers should be large and that it is highly unlikely that they have any armored vehicles, as they would have been detected prior to today. Therefore expect infantry with small arms, technicals and barricades.
B. Friendly Forces: All Dragon and Badger elements are located in AFB Blunderbuss, with Dragon’2 located somewhere in central Zargabad. All Air assets are grounded due to the sand storm.
1) Equipment: Limited equipment is available at the FOB.
2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs
3) Ground Vehicles: Ammo, Fuel and Repair HMMET, Medical M113, 2x M2 HMMWV, 1x HMMWV, 1x M2A3 Bradley BUSK III.
4) Fixed Wing: None
5) Rotary Wing: None
6) Naval: None
Other friendly forces: None
C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are expected to be neutral and still in Zargabad.
2. Mission
Your primary objective is to extract all Dragon’2 elements back to AFB Blunderbuss.
Your Secondary Objective is to extract any bodies of fallen coalition forces back to AFB Blunderbuss by using body bags.
Your Tertiary objective should you see it as a viable option, is to reclaim the center of Zargabad and keep ASR Beetroot clear.
3. Execution
Your force may proceed as they see fit and minimize friendly and civilian casualties.
It is recommended that Dragon’2 keep stay low and focus on staying alive until the rest of Dragon can rescue them.
