Scheduled for Thursday the 6th of March
Description:
1. Situation
Situation Time: 04:35 hrs
Weather: Slight overcast, no reliable forecast. The situation in the middle east has gone from bad to worse after NATO troops handed most of Afghanistan back to local authorities. In an unexpected move, Taliban insurgents have mobilized a large portion of their forces to Takistan, in an attempt to regain control of the region after Blufor troops evacuated. The size of the Taliban force quickly had authorities running with their tails between their legs.
The lives of the remaining Blufor troops in Takistan are in peril, with multiple FOBs to the east already gone silent. At this point it’s only a matter of hours until FOB Titan, the staging area of Zulu-Alpha, is overthrown. Two hours ago, Zulu-Alpha managed to establish radio communication with Dreadlord, a C130J returning from an airdrop mission in northern Afghanistan. Problematically, however, the Super Hercules is low on fuel, and a detour to the Rasman airfield would imminently require a refuel.
A. Enemy Forces:
There are reports of Taliban fighters in the area, although there is no intel on the quantity or exact positions. Taliban forces will engage on sight. It is also safe to assume that IEDs and suicide bombers will be used by the opposition.
B. Civilian Presence:
It is unknown whether or not civilians have evacuated. Regardless, threatening or harming civilians may inspire aggression and could prove devastating. Thus it is recommended to only engage armed personnel.
2. Mission
Zulu-Alpha are to take the fuel truck to the Rasman military base, in order to provide fuel to the C130J that is inbound for a pickup.
3. Execution
Zulu-Alpha begins at FOB Titan, an improvised FOB south of Rasman. All unused vehicles, ammunition and other supplies are to be destroyed. It is highly advisable to stay on the main road when heading to the Rasman airfield due to a threat of mines. ( As a final resort, NATO troops mined the airfield perimeter to keep enemy technicals out. These mines prevent a direct route to the airfield.)
4. Service and Support
There is no support available, however, ‘Dreadlord’, a NATO C130J, is inbound for a landing at Rasman airfield.
5. Command and Signal
Dreadlord – NATO C130J
Zulu-Alpha – Your Troop.!!!——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–!!!
NOTE: This mission is on the special server, and thus requires a download of approximately 6GB! Download the special server repo from here.
