Massive thanks to the ds’s for enduring last night’s backpack fannying, acre glitching, mortar suiciding, truck capsizing selection… The challenges were creative & very enjoyable, except for the bast*** who thought up that sea crossing with waist-high swell…

Def one of the best experiences that I have had in gaming in a very long time, challenging and entertaining and once or twice very frustrating 🙂
I also just wanted to kick off the discussion about what we would like to do re Phase 3 and Altis or Stratis.
If we decide to move to the Dev branch it is going to take some time to make the swop due to the size of the update (3.something gigs). So lets talk about it sooner rather than later 🙂
For my 5 cents worth I don’t mind either moving to the dev branch or staying on Stratis. My only hesitation about going on the Dev branch will be that unless the whole of ZA moves with us, playing afterwards (should we pass selection) is going to involve moving back onto the stable branch which I think will be another huge download (this has been my experience of switching between the two so far.) Alternatively I think it would be awesome of our first experience there to be during our selection.
As one of the fortunates with uncapped the size of it all doesn’t really bother me except for the couple of hours it is going to take going backwards and forwards, I but that is what going to work is for 🙂

So if phase 3 can be done on Monday 2nd September then I’m in.
I think the idea is to do it on the 2nd we just need to decide if it is going to be on Stratis or Altis.
To be honest I dont care which one we do it on, as long as I can start getting a gun in my hands soon!!! Not lus to sukkel with massive updates all the time though aswell. But ill go with the majority whatever the decision. Other problem is that im not home this weekend so if I only start on monday morning with a 3.something gb download with my 1mb line, i dont think it will be finished for that evening.

Yes, Panthera phase:3 will be set to Monday.
Regarding the Maps. Look me personally will no get the new map or “DEV Section” till release. I’ve gone through my fair share of arma issue and going to a dev mod is not happening.
Will see what the general consensus is on the Sunday.
I cant help but notice that Phase 3 has been scheduled for tonight on the ZA home page…

Also, im not sure we are going to do it on Altis. We will need many DSs and only a few have Altis.So just to confirm…we are staying on the stable branch for Phase 3 this evening.
