1. SITUATION
Situation Time: February 12, 06h30L
Lighting: Sunrise
Weather: Overcast, light fog, 4km visibility, expected to remain the same.In yesterdays battle, Zulu-ALpha and the Chernarus Defense Force (CDF) successfully gained Pulkovo and Pogorevka, but failed to take Rogovo, allowing the Chernarusian separatist movement to prevent a breakthrough and delay our advance.
Today, reinforcements have arrived, in the form of a section of M1A2 Abrams from Badger, a replenishment of losses for the CDF mechanized infantry company, Serpent, and an 82mm 2B14 Podnos battery, callsign Haymaker, and a CDF Mi-24D, being enabled by the reduced fog.
The purpose of our buildup is to enable a breakthrough today into the interior of the enemy territory, by taking Rogovo and Stary Sobor, the latter town is expected to house their headquarters and commander.
The Separatists are expected to be similarly well reinforced, with armoured reserves, possible artillery and air support.
Zulu-Alpha has been given clearance to assist Serpent using direct means, and can therefore assist in the attack in any way, with priority fires from Haymaker.
A. Enemy Forces:
The Chernarusian separatists in the area consist of a reinforced infantry Company, reinforced with a T-72 tank platoon, air support from possible Mi-24s and mortars.
They have prepared defences with anti-tank capability.
Chernarus Separatists B. Friendly Forces:
Serpent has re-grouped the bulk of their forces back at Drozhino, with Zulu-Alpha at their service depot nearby.
CDF Serpent consists of a BTR60 platoon, a UAZ recon platoon, an infantry platoon, several transport trucks, a medical BMP and a command BRDM, which is what the commander of Serpent occupies.
They have an Mi-24D under their control, and an 82mm 2B14 Podnos battery, callsign Haymaker dedicated to us.
CDF Commander 1) Equipment: Standard equipment
2) Surveillance: 1x Micro UAV
3) Ground Vehicles: 1x M1165 GMV, 2x HMMWV SOV [M2], 1x HMMWV SOV [Mk19], 1x HMMWV Ambulance, 2x M1A2SEPv3, MTVR refuel, repair and ammo trucks. 1x MTVR Transport
4) Fixed Wing: None
5) Rotary Wing: None
6) Naval: None
Other friendly forces: Serpent will commence their attack imminently, regardless of Zulu-Alpha’s status. They have 1x Mi-24D and an 82mm 2B14 Podnos battery, callsign Haymaker under our priority fires
C. Civilian Presence: None expected in the area due to the conflict.
