Operation Spearpoint
1. SITUATION
Time: 15:00 hrs
Weather: Clear, + 3Km Visibility
Moon State: NA
D-Day + 2.
With Molos secured and the AAA picket destroyed NATO forces are now tasked with assaulting and occupying the town of Sofia and denying AAF forces in the area air cover.
[Town of Sofia]To the NW of the town of Sofia is a Radar Installation that is vital to the AAF’s air presence in Eastern Altis. This installation is also necessary for NATO air superiority due to AWACS being able to stay on station for a reduced period of time. And must therefore not be damaged.
A: Enemy Forces:
Enemy concentration in the area is high with reinfocements finally being moved into the area. Due to the significant nature of the Radar Station AAF armour has been move there to reinforce its security. Enemy froces away from the Radar are still mostly light infantry with some mechanised support.
[AAF Armour at the RADAR]B: Friendly Forces:
NATO forces have moved into the town of Molos and are currently using it as a staging area for advancement South. Zulu-Alpha is currently at the NE end of molos and has Access to its full range of armaments. With the front being pushed further south and the increased presence of armour a AH-99 Commanche has been made available for CAS. An UGV has also been made available for easy resupply to the front.
C: Mission
Zulu-Alpha is to assault the Radar station to the NE of Sofia and secure it without damaging the Radar dome. Once this has been completed ZA is to assist NATO forces with the securing of the town of Sofia.

D: Service and support
Support Units
1) Artillery: Artillery: The DDG-77 Arleigh Burke class Destroyer O’Kane is on station to offer Artillary support.
2) Aviation: 1 x AH-99 Commanche, 1 x AW 159 Wildcate (unarmed).
3) Ground Vehicles: 2 x HMMWV (M2), 2 x HMMWV (TOW), 1 x UGV.
4) Unmanned Arial Vehicles: 1 x UGV (unarmed)

ZA is responsible for their own Medical Requirements
COMMAND AND SIGNAL

CIVILIANS
All civilians have been moved to internment camp closer to the center of the island.
