    Description:

    1. SITUATION

    Situation Time: 06:15 hrs

Lighting: First light at 06:35 hrs

Weather: 1Km Visibility, Foggy, expected to be Clear and Unlimited Visibility after dawn.

The Altisian insurgents have been concentrating their strength on Altis in an attempt to launch an offensive to overthrow the democratically elected government of Altis. Intelligence has identified their staging area to be on the the South Eastern Peninsula of Altis, which is one of the parts of Altis with no Coalition presence.

It is expected that they will also have a command post and logistical assets in the area as well, which makes this an excellent opportunity to significantly weaken the insurgent forces on Altis.

    A. Enemy Forces: The enemy forces consist of approximately company level strength of motorized irregular forces, located on the South Eastern Peninsula of Altis, concentrated at the Airfield (OBJ Nybass) and the surrounding towns.

They are well motivated and experienced, have access to various small arms including light Anti-Tank weapons, technicals and trucks, but with limited night fighting capabilities.

They are expected to maintain regular foot patrols in the AO through both night and day and be well entrenched in the surrounding towns.

The insurgent leadership are expected to consist of a small command team, probably at OBJ Nybass of former AAF officers.
