1. SITUATION
Situation Time: October 6, 2020, 06h00L
Lighting: Sunrise
Weather: Clear, unlimited visibility.Coalition forces have begun pushing the Iranian military out of the region of lythium and Zulu-Alpha has been deployed as part of it’s vanguard.
Zulu-Alpha, supplemented with Strykers, is tasked with advancing to contact and taking key terrain away from, elements of the 65th Guard Battalion of the Iranian Army (AJA).
AO A. Enemy Forces:
The element of the 65th Guard Battalion expected is an infantry company, with an M60 platoon and a mechanized M113 platoon. They are expected to have some prepared defences in the area with their supply units further back. No support units, air or artillery are expected.
AJA B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu Company, Alpha platoon has is located in a FUP 1KM East of PL Kestral, supplemented by a Strkyer Section. Due to recent drone swarm attacks, no UAV is available and the advanced nature of ZA’s position means no artillery support is yet available.
Vehicle, infantry and resupply crates and spare tyres are located at the FUP.

3) Ground Vehicles: 1x M1126 ICV M2 CROWS [Slat], 1x M1130 CV M2 CROWS [Slat], 1x M1133 MEV [Slat], 1x MTVR

C. Civilian Presence: No built up areas are in the AO.
2. Mission
- Advance to contact and destroy the lead elements of the 65th Guard Battalion of the AJA.
- Take and hold key terrain, namely objectives Falcon, Eagle and Hawk.
