1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 03:00L, June 1st, 2025
Lighting: No moon, night
Weather: Low fog with 3KM Visibility
An American construction consultant, Ethan Spiegelman, working in Sa’hatra was kidnapped by IS a week ago. They are demanding the release of several IS terrorists in US custody in exchange for him.
IS took him to a block in central Sa’hatra that they control and are concentrated in.
They have stated that if any hostile forces are detected anywhere near their block, they will execute the hostage immediately.
Our CIA asset in the area has gained the trust of IS as a delivery driver and can gain access to the block without searches. This should enable us to insert a team using the van past their perimeter undetected, and reach the hostage before they are aware of what is happening. Our asset has also identified the exact building the hostage is in (marked on the map) and that he is on the top floor.
Ethan Spiegelma Theatre A. Enemy Forces:
IS forces consist of infantry with small arms, HMGs, and at least one ZU-23. The heavy weapons are situated around the perimeter, and the ZU-23 is on a roof. There is also a BMP in front of the hostage building, which is normally unmanned, but with its crew on standby nearby.
The only building that is explicitly guarded (has guards watching the entrances at all times) is the target building.
Most IS forces are sleeping in the block, but some are manning the perimeter and patrolling the streets.
We expect them to sound the alarm as soon as hostile action is detected and for them to all wake up.

3. General Instructions
Command recommends entering the target building from the adjoining building, as a tactical ladder will be able to reach the roof of the target building from the other roof; however, you may have to pack light, as you still have to do some climbing.
Your entry team should stay in the back of the cargo van so as not to be visible.
