Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 07:00 hrs
Weather: Partly cloudy, 2Km VisibilityD-Day +1
After establishing a beachhead in the NE of Altis, NATO forces have consolidated their position and are starting front line offenses againt the AAF.
A. Enemy Forces:
Enemy forces consist of AAF regular troops carrying light to medium arms. South of the town of Molos a picket line of AAA consisting of ZSU-23-4
Shilka’s has been set up to protect troop, armour and supply conentrations at Sofia south of Phaseline Lynx. While it is suspected that there is
no armour aside from the Shilka’s north east of Lynx it is not an imprabability that there will be some.B. Friendly Forces:
Friendly forces have setup a beachhead in the north east of Altis north of the town of Molos.
Zulu-Alpha is currently formed up at a grass runway in the area that is being used to fly in supplies. ZA has access to their full armament
range (VAS) as well as several HMMWV’s mounting TOW’s and M2 HMG’s, several SWCC boats and two AW159 Wildcat Helicopters (one armed and one
unarmed).1) Aviation: 1 x AW159 Wildcat (armed), 1 x AW 159 Wildcate (unarmed)
2) Ground Vehicles: 2 x HMMWV (M2), 2 x HMMWV (TOW)
3) Boats: 4 x SWCCC. Civilian Presence:
There are no civilians in the are as they have all been moved into internement camps towards teh center of the island.
2. Mission;
There are three objectives for ZA to undertake.1) Clear out the town on Molos
2) Destory all the Shilka’s (4) in the AAA picket line, enabling air support
3) Find and destory the AAF supply depot that has not had time to be moved behind Phaseline Lynx. It is suspected that the supply depot is
located just off the MSR leading between Molos and Sofia.
3. Execution
The CO may proceed as they see fit.
4. Service and Support
A. SUPPORT UNITS
1) Artillery: The DDG-77 Arleigh Burke class Destroyer O’Kane is on station to offer Artillary support.B. MEDICAL SUPPORT
ZA is responsible for their own medical requirements.
5. Command and Signal
Standard ZA radio protocols apply
