1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 06h30L
Lighting: Daytime
Weather: Partly cloudy, unlimited visibility. Overcast and rain is expected in an hour.3 hours ago, Zulu-Alpha successfully infiltrated Kyntyre and destroyed the SA-20 site and set up a hasty resupply point at LZ-2.
Objective Thunder still remains and the Marine amphibious assault company Hammer is standing by to assault it and repel any counter-attack.
Theater A. Enemy Forces:
Two of the easternmost bunkers of the AO has been destroyed, but the rest with HMGs are still lining the coast, with infantry patrols further inland.
The enemy is expected to be able to mobilize a motorized infantry company in response to an attack on OBJ Hammer.
Russian MSV The last engagement by Zulu-Alpha has revealed that the enemy has close air support in the form of rotary aircraft, but it is unknown if the two Mi-8s that were lost were the only ones.
After the loud engagements and the loss of the SA-20, the enemy is also on high alert and know that an assault may be coming to obj Thunder and will likely reinforce it soon.
B. Friendly Forces:
The U.S.S Khe Sanh is approximately 7KM South East of the coast of Kintyre. The amphibious assault unit, call-sign Hammer, is a Marine infantry company with an M1 section. They are holding 12 minutes off the coast of Kintyre, awaiting the signal from Zulu-Alpha to attack. They’re designated LZ is LZ-1, just East of OBJ Thunder, and are tasked with taking and holding it.
Hammer Zulu-Alpha located at LZ-2 along with their equipment crates.
1) Equipment: Standard equipment.
2) Surveillance: 1x Micro UAV.
3) Ground Vehicles: None
4) Fixed Wing: 1x F-35B Beast mode with GBU-12s
5) Rotary Wing: 1x UH-1Y Venom (MEDVAC)
6) Naval: 3x Zodiac, 1x RHIB (MK19) at the landing zone on the coast of Kintyre, where they were left by Zulu-Alpha, and 3x Zodiac, 1x RHIB (MK19) at the LHD.
Other friendly forces: Hammer infantry company and attached M1 section.
C. Civilian Presence: None.
2. Mission
- Assist Hammer in taking and holding objective thunder.
3. General Instructions
- Use Reaper to destroy the bunkers that still threaten Hammer’s attack.
- Call Hammer in to attack Thunder and assist them.
- Hold Thunder against any counter-attack.
AO 4. Specific Instructions
- Reinforcements will be located at the LHD.
