Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 12:00 hrsWeather: Partly cloudy, 2Km Visibility
The extreme level of opposition that the poachers have shown has resulted in the unit being forced to fall back to RP
Ubuhlungu due to the high number of casualties. Scouts have discovered that the whole of Alpha-1 has been taken captive
after they were overwhelmed in their assault on what has turned out to be the main camp of the poachers at the nearby
dump. ZA’s main priority now is to rescue its operators as quickly as possibe. Once they have been secured and treated ZA
is to return to its original mission and eliminate all the poachers in the area.

A. Enemy Forces:
Enemy forces have proven to be stronger than was first estimated, with the “poachers” having large calibre weapons and
rpg’s. ZA operators are reminded to remain vigilent as several snipers have been discovered.B. Friendly Forces:
The UN forces remain uncommited at FOB Benecala however when ZA casualties started to mount several support vehicles were
move to the FOB from a nearby logistical base. One of which is a mobile surgery that is being prepared for when Alpha-1 is
rescued.Angel-1-2, after taking heavy fire, was forced down and in the process received damage to the tail rotor. To regain air-based combat and logistical support Angel-1-2 will have to be repaired. An engineer has been seconded to ZA from the SAS Inkohliso, this engineer will be able to affect rudementary repairs to Angel-1-2, enough that the helipcopter will be able to make it to FOB Bencala for repairs. C. Civilian Presence:
There are no civilians in the AO2. Mission
The primary mission is the rescue of Alpha-1 at the the enemy camp. Once they have been rescued, treated and returned to active duty, ZA operators are to continue with clearing out the AO of all poachers.3. Execution

ZA will handle its own medical needs though the hostages will have to be treated at the mobile surgery at FOB Benecala.

All the Alpha-1 are injured but cannot be healed using X39 and must be healed at the HEMTT Medical truck. If A1 leave the
