Prelimenary Schedule for 1 dec 2013
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 0640 hrs
Description:
Weather: Heavy Rain
Visibility: < 3KM
Zulu-Alpha’s anti-drug activities on the island of Altis received a massive boost today when Christakis Pavli’s accountant, Dionysiou Areopagitou, handed himself over to ZA MP’s at 0430 this morning. Requesting protection and transport off the island Dionysiou has promised to hand over information regarding every facet of Pavli’s operation, including the cartel leaders whereabouts.

Pavli does not know about Areopagitou’s defection as yet but this will not last as the two were scheduled to have a meeting this morning at 0730 and it is likely that Pavli will become suspicious and start searching for Areopagitou when he does not arrive for the meeting. Areopagitou claims that Pavli is cleaning house looking for the leak that lead Zulu-Alpha to the location of the arms and ammunition destroyed in Operation PoppyKiller. This search has lead to Pavli discovering that Areopagitou has been both stealing money from him and sleeping with his wife. Make no mistake Areopagitou is not turning on his former employer for anything other than self preservation, and ZA protecting him is simply a means to an end for both parties.

Due to the scheduled meeting this morning between Areopagitou and Pavli we need to have him at the safe house by 0715 local time, which is thirty (35) minutes from now. Travel time to the safe house is not expected to be longer than fifteen (15) minutes once the protection detail has left the AFB.Due to the recent and continuing heavy rains, there is massive flooding throughout the island which has made all routes to Kavala unusable except for the main road. While this is not ideal from a security perspective it does mean that the detail will able to move at maximum speed. The heavy rains also mean that the civilian population will be staying inside, out of the inclement weather, so if the protection detail is intercepted, which is unlikely, there will be little to no chance of civilians being present.
A. Enemy Forces: There is not expected to be any opposition to our moving of Areopagitou to the safe house, however if cartel members are encountered their composition is expected to be much as they were in previous ZA operations on Altis, mainly small arms carrying irregulars with technicals as support.
2. Mission: Your team is to transport Dionysiou Areopagitou quickly and safely to the safe house in Kavala.
3.Execution: Due to the heavy rains and the resulting flooding, vehicle movement is restricted to the Main Road, it is also an imperative that Dionysiou be at the safe house by 0715 local time. The safe house’s location is 033 129.
4. Service and Support
