1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 05:00 hrs
Weather: Partly cloudy, 2Km Visibility
Coalition forces are pushing into central Altis in order to take Gravia AFB, Kalithea bay and surrounding civilian and military targets from the GNF

AO A. Enemy Forces:
Enemy forces consist of the 3rd Republican Guard Battalion which are occupying all territory to the West of Phase Line Hansa (shown in map of AO). They are a light infantry Battalion of approximately 400 men well equipped with AAF weaponry, vehicles and equipment, however air and artillery support are probable due to Coalition suppression of those assets. Most of the 3rd RG are located South of Boundary Line Ottoman in order to hold the Air Base and should focus their attention on the 1st MEU.
B. Friendly Forces:
Friendly forces consist of Zulu-Alpha D-Troop, which has access to 2x Hunters, 1x HEMMET Troop transport and 3x Quadbikes to assist with resupply. All of which are located at a compound just NE of Rodopoli. A battalion of the 1st MEU will be located to your South, staging near Pyrgos, with their HQ at Pyrgos FOB. They are a Motorized Battalion of approximately 400 men.
UPDATE: 3 rubber ducks have been provided on request of the CO by 1st MEU
C. Civilian Presence:
Civilians have dispersed from the combat zone, however some may still be trapped in the area.
2. Mission
Advance with the 1st MEU and take Objectives Istanbul, Cairo, Allepo and Tunis.
3. Execution
Your team advance past PL Hansa at 05:20 and limit your action to the TAOR defined by the area NE of BL Ottoman and NW of PL Hansa in order to prevent fratricide and over-extension of your forces. Exactly how your forces complete their objectives are to be determined by the CO.

Comments:
Alpha and Bravo had their first contact at approximately 05:21 at FUP-1 which was a defensive action. ———————————Description:
Take OBJ IstanbulCompletion Status:
100%
Comments:
Alpha set up an HMG just West of OP-1 and covered Bravo as they assaulted OBJ Istanbul. Bravo assaulted and cleared OBJ Istanbul from the South. Once it was secured, Alpha received contact by patrols from the South and withdrew (while inflicting significant casualties on the attacking force) with all their equipment with the help of Anvil (on quadbike) to OBJ Istanbul. A small number of hostiles where discovered in the area between OP-1 and FUP-1 harassing resupply attempts near the end of the operation. OBJ Istanbul was then chosen to be an FOB to ease future actions. Mission ended at 07:05———————————
ADDITIONAL DETAIL
———————————
Comments:The micro UAVs all landed without any or minimal damage behind friendly lines and recoverable. Time did not allow for the other objectives to be assaulted, but will be assaulted in future actions.
1st MEU managed to take Anthrakia after heavy and fighting and generally made slow progress. The leading elements has begun their assault on Gravia AFB by the Mission end Time.

Friendly forces where then resupplied by Anvil at OBJ Cairo and then set off to the next objective. However, while all of Alpha, Bravo and Romeo where on the next task, OBJ Cario was re-occupied by a small enemy force, overrunning Anvil, which remained.———————————
TASK #4 DETAIL
———————————
Description:
Take and hold OBJ Allepo
Completion Status:
50%
Comments:
Friendly forces then moved from OBJ Cairo to OBJ Tunis as a single group, fighting a fierce battle to take and the NE side of the hill, receiving many wounded. There where some enemy forces off the hill and along the right flank of the force and concealed LMG positions atop the hill. Frindly forces stopped short of clearing the Southern end of the objective due to risk of fratricide with the 1st MEU and high enemy resistance to the SE of the hill that may get involved if the entire OBJ was occupied. The UH-80 (Rodeo-1) was used to provide air cover and suppress the enemy occupying OBJ Cairo again, but was shot down.———————————
ADDITIONAL DETAIL
———————————
Comments:
One micro UAVs was lost due to landing in the water.
Frindly forces have pushed the front line forward, with the line formed by the 3 objectives being contested. The 1st MEU took Telos and partially occupied Gravia AFB, not advancing as rapidly as expected.
