Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 22:00 hrs
Weather: Clear, 2Km Visibility, no reliable forecastAll coalition and UN forces have left Altis. The Altis government has been placed under a trade and arms embargo and and new insurgent activity and factions are appearing on Atlis.
The AAF (Atlis Armed Forces) crackdown on the insurgency that has led to the current state of affairs has backfired. The old united FIA (Freedom and Independence Army) has fractured, however many new factions of the FIA have come into being and the total number of combatants has swelled. The AAF are known to be hostile toward all FIA factions.
Two of these factions are the Nikas FIA and the Kozma FIA. They are currently fighting each other for a foot-hold at the North Western part of Altis. The Kozma are in a position to win, however they are hostile to Western interests. The Nikas have explicitly aligned them selves to the west.
ZA will be tasked with conducting actions a key asset of the Kozma FIA in a covert manner, in order to avoid the AAF or any other faction of the FIA knowledge of our involvement.
Map of the AO (large) A. Enemy Forces:
Irregular forces known as the Kozma “FIA” are armed with 5.56 rifles, LMGs, RPGs and technicals. They are numbered at over company strength around NW Altis in the lightly inhabited mountainous areas. They are currently committed to an offensive against the Nikas FIA. They headquarter is expected to be located at StrongHold Guppy.
Kozma FIA The Kozma elite guards are in uniform and armed with Russian assault rifles and weaponry. They are motorized and are expected to be guarding StrongHold Guppy. They are numbered at about troop Strength.
Kozma elite guard The AAF are not expected to be in the AO, however they will be hostile to all FIA forces, including Western forces on their shores. They occupy all cities and military installations outside of NW Altis.
AAF B. Friendly Forces:
The Nikas FIA are friendly and will be co-operating with us on this operation. They are numbered at approximately understrength company level and have techincals. They currently have the NW tip of Altis (marked Nikas Territory) secured and undisputed. They are expecting a landing from ZA forces via boat in that vicinity. Be advised, that they are dressed in virtually the same manner as the Kozma FIA, so RoE must be used to avoid fratricide.
Nikas FIA Your force (SAS, D-Troop – Zulu-Alpha) is located at aboard the Seafighter (FSF-1) Littoral combat several KM off the NW coast of Altis, currently helping to enforce the trade and arms embargo. You have access to its 2 Assault Boats and gear aboard the vessel. You must be dressed in FIA style, and wielding FIA weapons. Some advanced equipment (NV goggles, ctab, GPS etc) are allowed.
C. Civilian Presence:
Civilians occupy the major towns and cities of Atlis, but have not returned to the same population level as before the war. They are expected to remain netural.
2. Mission
A key operative of the Kozma FIA, codenamed OBJ Gold Fish, is expected to be located at StongHold Guppy. You are to eliminate him and have a positive visual confirmation and ID of the target.
OBJ GoldFish 3. Execution
Your force (SAS, D-Troop – Zulu-Alpha) is launch from the Seafighter (FSF-1) and land at the NW tip of Altis (marked Nikas Territory) that is secured by the Nikas FIA. You are then to eliminate Obj Gold Fish with minimal friendly and civilian casualties and visually confirm and ID the body. Then you are to return to FSF-1.
4. Service and Support
A. SUPPORT UNITS
1) 1x Mk-6 Mortar (callsign Grecco One) is on call for your use and located in Nikas territory.
2) Nikas FIA Forces may provide direct fire support if they are in position to do so.
B. MEDICAL SUPPORT
Zulu-Alpha handles medical requirements internally
C. LOGISTICAL SUPPORT
Zulu-Alpha handles logistical requirements internally.
