Intent
Support, Resupply and Secure FOB Independence on the brink of collapse, to secure the 2nd base within Mosul to launch future attacks and to cut off any escape routes to the north.
Situation Report
CJTF – JSOC – 3/75 Rangers – Zulu Company – Alpha Platoon, Successfully deployed after a long and restful journey to the ISIS Stronghold Mosul. The arrival of JSOC sought relief for the Allied forces being pressed continuously, forcing uncontrolled advancement within the town and subsequent loss of life. The dwindling numbers at FOB Independence mean little support from the Peshmerga and High command’s intent to Box in ISIS are far more important then to strengthen the remaining forces at FOB.
The specialized operations of US ranger units meant a perfect match and opportunity to establish an Alamo defence in a grander scheme. The HQ intent and command is that Zulu-Alpha set up shop at FOB Independence, Secure the FOB from any counter attacks and to investigate any activities of interest close to FOB.
The Main MSR have been in NATO hands for more than a few weeks now and is in daily use, so we should clear from any IED’s, however, the MSR adjacent to the town being somewhat less secure leading into the FOB can probably spring a nasty surprise. Be vigilant.
Herewith a Copy of the OP Fools Glory Manifest, HQ intent is that at least 6 Squad crates be taken, 4x resupply crates, 2x Medical crates,2x explosive crates, 1x Heavy weapons crate, The fuel truck and repair truck is a must to establish a FOB. Any other Vehicles and/or are at the discretion of the CO of ZA.
The FOB has two entrance the Safer Northern entrance with minimal defences and the Eastern entrance which has some allied defence in place already.

FOB Independence In addition to the Establishing and Safe Keeping of the FOB, HQ has learnt that the recent spree of sporadic bombing could be related to a nearby shantytown, HQ wants ZA to investigate Objective Pinch-Her Move. Conduct a Thorough sweep to eradicate this thorn in the allied side.
