Scheduled for Sunday the 15th of September
Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 03:15 hrs
Weather: Partly cloudy, 3Km Visibility, Half moon
5 British nationals have been taken captive while trying to escape the fighting in the center of Altis and are being held at the main Airbase, near Gravia. Command has decided to that the nationals must be rescued before the Greek National Front (GNF) decides to use them as bargaining tools.
A. Enemy Forces: Reconnaissance shows that the nationals are held by GNF regular forces in the main terminal building at the airbase, deep inside enemy territory but their exact location in the building is unknown. The building itself is guarded by about 8 GNF troops. All the 3 ATCs at the airbase are expected to be manned and the perimeter of the airbase is expected to be guarded by several 2 to 3 man patrols.
The 2 military compounds have section level garrisons and there is one motorized section that remains mobile on the grounds of the airbase, consisting of a Strider and a section of infantry with truck transport. The enemy forces in the airbase are not expecting an attack and are expected to react slowly to a rescue attempt. This includes the towns and villages around the airbase, where each town is expected to have garrisons of 8 to 15 men each and are expected to remain at their posts during an attack.

Map of the Airbase There are however two enemy mechanized platoons, consisting of APC’s and striders, in staging areas approximately 7Km and 10 minutes away to the West and East of the airbase that are expected to be deployed in reaction to an attack. The GNF also has one operational “Hamok” gunship that is based at the airfield 7Km to the North West of the airbase, that once it has had several minutes to start up may be used in reaction to any attack. The GNF is also known to have several patrols boats in their inventory that patrol the inlet leading into Pyrgos Gulf in order to restrict access to it.

Map of the AO B. Friendly Forces: Your team of Zulu-Alpha, D-Troop are located at the airfield at Feres, at the Southern end of the South Eastern peninsula of Altis. You have access to the full assortment of Small arms, submarines and assault boats.
