If you’re interested in joining Zulu-Alpha and eventually becoming a member of a group which executes missions with well oiled teams of operators, you’ll need to sign up here for selection first. Once you’ve made it through the three selection phases, you’ll then undergo the ZA training program, or DTT, after which you will be considered a fully qualified ZA Member. Thats when the fun begins. And once you’re ready to join one of the dedicated teams, then the action starts for real.
The date on this topic will be for the first of three phases of selection. The other phases will be scheduled afterwards, most probably on the same day of the week in the following week, but discussion of all three phases for this class is discussed here.
Please Note: As a ZA Candidate and Member, you are expected to behave in a disciplined fashion, adhere to a set of specific rules, and maintain sufficient attendance at the General Events. If you don’t think you can do that, please don’t sign up.

Signing Up: You will need to register in this topic before 19 May. Please note that if you put your name down, you are committing to attend. If you don’t put your name down by 19 May, you will not be allowed to attend.
Note: Late comers and people with missing mods will simply be dropped from selection. You are expected to have working ACRE and Arma 3. If you are having issues, find someone to help you sort them out before selection commences. Non-working ACRE is grounds for dropping you from Selection. There is a pre-selection briefing (see below) at which these things can be sorted out. If you can’t make that, contact me, and make arrangements to test. There will be no excuses and no accommodations made.We will also be holding a pre-selection briefing on Sunday 19 May at 19:00. This will be your opportunity to test your systems and make sure you have the correct mods and settings in place. We will run you through some of the rules and give you a few tips on how you can improve your chances of success.
I must still do Selection 3 and aim to join you for that 🙂

Edit: On the main page, I think there is a typo. On main page the Event says “Class 7” for Monday 20th and when clicking “Sign up” leads to Class 8 post.
I won’t be able to make Monday’s ( 03-06-2013 ) selection course, I’m out of town for work the whole of next week. Is it possible that we can move it up one evening? Or should I join the next selection?
I would love to join you guys, but I pretty much sux. What is the entry level for this group? Any single player missions I can use to train up? Any advice?
I can hit the side of a barn… if it’s a big barn. 🙂
@petracephas We are currently in the middle of the Class 8 Selection, I would advise that you play with us a couple of times before doing the selection, some of the new guys struggle with certain aspects of it and together with the A3 Alpha, it sometimes can become a real ass to handle, but yes as I said in my other post, see you on the server then we can have a chat.
@bosvark85 I doubt it, cause we have training, but i’ll talk to @Phoenix .
@bosvark85 We’ll see about having one just for you if we can, otherwise the only other option is to have it with the next class
@petracephas You don’t need any special skills to play. We often train people from scratch. I would suggest you join some open games, otherwise we have a pre selection briefing the night before the first Selection event of a class, where you can ask questions and familiarize yourself with the game with help from us. You would have to Join class 9. Ill make a Class 9 sign up page soon for you and at least two other people to sign up at.
