Operation Peace – WARNORD

Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 04:00 hrs

Lighting: Partly Cloudy

Weather: 2Km Visibility, Foggy

NATO forces control all of Takistan now, but there are still ISIS cells in hiding. Your team is tasked with finding and eliminating the leader of the Eastern cell, based on the information provided by an informant.

 

A. Enemy Forces: ISIS forces are expected to be dispersed and hidden throughout the region, including in your area of operations and may be hiding among civilians. They are not expected to have any armour but should still have access to technicals.

ISIS forces are expected perform hit and run attacks in small teams in order to cause casualties among US forces while preserving their own forces. The Eastern ISIS cell, which you will go after has been particularly aggressive and has also caused many civilian casualties in an attempt to silence US allies and keep the civilian population in fear.

There is also a moderate IED threat in the form of buried roadside IEDs and VBIEDs. There has also been several instances of suicide bombers in the last few weeks.

 

B. Friendly Forces: Your unit is located at OBJ Underwood, with your aerial assets at Rasman AFB.

1) Equipment: Standard limited ammo and equipment.

2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs and 2x YABHON-R3

3) Ground Vehicles: 2x UGVs, 2x M-ATV,  2x M1078A1P2-B M2

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: 1x CH-47F, 1x UH-60M

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: Eagle Company is tasked with garrison duties mainly in the South of Takistan and have a QRF that will be on call and is expected to reach any part of Takistan in 20 to 30 minutes.

 

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are located throughout the region in all towns. Some may be hostile to US forces and ISIS forces as well.

 

2. Mission

Your force is to find and kill the leader of the Eastern ISIS Cell, using the information provided by local informants.

 

3. Execution

Your force is to travel to the village of Timurkalay and speak to the informant who runs the Garage shop there. His name is Abdul-Mussawir Amani. He is our primary informant and has a history of being a trustworthy source.

You are then to eliminate the ISIS leader based on the intelligence that you will gather with minimal civilian and friendly casualties.

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel that are clearly ISIS. Otherwise only fire if fired upon.
