Description:
1. SITUATION Situation Time: 21:00 hrs Weather: Clear, 2Km Visibility
Zulu-Alpha have been ordered to assist the local authorities of Altis in their attempt to restore law and order after the recent civil war. Multiple warlords have taken up residence on Altis, the most prominent of which is Sekou Bokassa.
Bokassa is feared and renowned for human trafficking and the distribution of firearms to the rebel forces of Altis. It is believed that his weapons is responsible for a third of all deaths throughout the civil war.
After months of reconnaissance, Bokassa’s position has been pinpointed to the Ghost Hotel – a previously abandoned hotel on the western coast of east Altis.
A. Enemy Forces:
The exact number of enemy forces is unknown. However, civilian informants have reported a number of at least 40 rebels. Their equipment include AK47’s and RPKs. Nightvision and thermal optics are highly unlikely. Bokassa’s guards appear to be untrained, and will not be expecting the assault.
B. Friendly Forces:
There are no friendly forces expected around the AO. However, there are friendly FIA forces within FOB Armada.
C. Civilian Presence:
Most civilians have evacuated the area, so a civilian presence is unlikely. However, due to previous human trafficking incidents, it is unknown whether or not any civilians are being held within the the AO.
2. Mission
Zulu-Alpha’s primary objective is eliminating Bokassa, thereby ending his influence over the rebel gangs in Altis.
Secondarily, any civilians within the AO are to be secured for local authorities to claim when the AO is clear.
If weapon caches are found, they must be destroyed.

3. Execution
In order to keep suspicions low, Zulu-Alpha must approach the SDV position with civilian vehicles. Thereafter, SDVs that were covertly placed by FIA forces are to be used to approach the AO. From this point the CO may proceed as he sees fit.
4. Service and Support A. SUPPORT UNITS
A UAV drone is available. However, due to the risk of alerting the enemy force, it is advised that the drone is only used if absolutely required.
B. MEDICAL SUPPORT
No medical support is available.
5. Command and Signal
Standard Radio protocols apply.
Frequencies for underwater radios:
40 for the Entire force
Note: To transmit over the underwater radio, press Alt and Capslock
To change the channel of the underwater radio, press Shift and P

D. Ground Brief Orientation
Map familiarization – Our TAOR (defined by Coy command as the AO) is the area 500m around the center of the Ghost Hotel Complex. It is an area of steep hills of approx 25m high broken up by treeblocks. There are 36 buildings, including one very large 4 story Hotel building called ‘Ghost Hotel’ for which the complex is named after.
Enemy – The enemy will be well entrenched in the Ghost Hotel Complex, which is in the middle of a Bay array inside a valley
Friendly – The hills surrounding the ghost hotel complex will be vital for achieving macro terrain control over the ghost hotel complex in order to conduct OBUA operations. There is a high wall along the Eastern end of the complex with 6 holes along it, marked Breach 1-6

3. Execution
A. Concept of Operations
C.O’s Intent – To insert at the LZ via SDV, Alpha provides over-watch for the purpose of isolating and controlling 3-Alpha, while Bravo assaults it. Once it is secure Alpha then provides overwatch for the Western end of the Ghost Hotel Complex and provides security against any enemy counter-attack. from outside the TAOR while Bravo secures the res of the Complex.
Scheme of maneuver –
ZA lands at LZ (00:00)
ZA moves to RP-1 (00:05)
Alpha sets up at OP-1 with weapons hold while Bravo crawls to Breach-4
Once Bravo reaches Breach-4, Alpha is weapons free and Bravo begins assaulting 3-Alpha by entering from the door on side 4 level 1 and clears the building as they see fit. (00:15)
Once 3-Alpha is secured, Alpha moves past the Northern side of 3-Alpha and onto OP-2 and OP-3 (splitting up as necessary) in order to provide security against enemy forces coming from the North and East and to fire on the Eastern part of the Ghost hotel complex from a different angle. (00:45)
Bravo will then move to and clear the Eastern part of the Ghost Hotel Complex, starting from Block Bravo, then onto Block Charlie.
Once the Ghost Hotel Complex is secured, Bravo will then move to a position to assist in providing security for the whole complex and await the friendly relief force (01:45).
Once the relief force arrives, then ZA will move back to the LZ for extraction via the SDVs (02:00).
Main Effort – Bravo assaults and secures buildings, while Alpha over-watches and provides security against outside forces while anvil provides intelligence and co-ordination.
3-Alpha

Alpha Section – Provide Overwatch from OP-1, then OP 2 and 3 and provide security against outside attack.
Bravo Section – Quietly move to 3-Alpha, clear it, wait for Alpha to move to new OP, then clear the rest of the complex. Bravo will also mark the positions of civilians they come across and plant explosives on weapon caches that are found.
Anvil-1 – Overall command of the mission and primary operator of UAVs.
Anvil-2 – 2iC and assisting with co-coordinating operations in the TAOR and secondary UAV operator.
Summary – Bravo assaults and secures buildings, while Alpha over-watches and provides security against outside forces while anvil provides intelligence and co-ordination.
