Unfortunately I am no good with the Editor.  Would it be possible to:

Host the mission on one of our own servers
Setup a simple mod-line with the bare essentials
Host coms on our TS3 servers with a channel for each faction
For one of the script-demos here to set-up a mission

I expect more than 8 ZA player may want to take part, perhaps we muster 2 teams of max 8 each: Blufor and Green Faction. Is this possible?

If its too short notice we could postpone by a week.

This is a challenge mission from a bunch of avid Arma players that I don’t think you’ve come across yet.  Mostly based in SA.

They are keen to play an informal mission with ZA.  We’ll keep it simple for the first mission, to break the ice so to say 😉

7. Weapons, vehicles, choppers: All std A3

8. Mod line: Essentials

Good to hear and thx @joedamage.

I bit the bullet and got the IR5 bundled with the Pro Clip, just to spend a whole evening swearing and getting frustrated cause the tracking was horrible.  Turns out that either I had a defective USB hub or you cant run a wireless headset and the Pro Clip on the same hub.  Any case, its all working nicely now and remains only to fiddle with the dead zones and sensitivities to make it natural and comfortable.

I am hoping I can free up some key-bindings for better use, e.g. using tracking for leaning L & R and instead binding stepping out to the keys.

Ja I expected it would be great for flying.

Some say I must wait for the new Oculist Rift headset, but that’s gonna cost a small fortune I think.

So I’ll give the T.IR a go, maybe I can land a chopper then 🙂

Thx Phoenix and karateBob for helping me sort ACRE last night – it looks like I am now fully Zulu-Alpha compatible.

It was a sobering experience playing A3 without the usual assists :0

I am enrolling in your selection program and hope to benefit from training and general missions.
