Howdy guys – will get my act together as soon as I get a retail copy of A3. Hopefully there wont be huge steam updates. Looking forward to running around with you lot.

Retail copy?? Not sure there will be a release (BIS, you never know). When the updates occur they always big +- 1gig.
Best thing you could do is get a copy of someone’s backup of A3 and mods.
Worldwide release date for arma 3 is 12 Sept. According to the website they will be releasing dvd copies as well as steam. If I cant get a copy within a few days I def will buy a key and get a backup copy.
I know when the release date is. I just done really believe most of the things BIS state on their forums or site. They say they going to do something and not do it or go in a different direction.

Got everything up and running and hopped on the test server last night- its all good.
