1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 06:15L 20 January 2023
Lighting: Dark, 2/4 moon, Sunrise at 08:07
Weather: Clear skies, partly cloudy, unlimited visibility. Expected to remain so for the next 24 hours.
Recently, contact has been stalemated with enemy forces in the Livonia region. The frontline is roughly between the town of Gliniska, which is held by friendlies, and Topolin, which is held by the enemy.
There is a piece of key terrain, a bridge near Jantar, that while well protected from a frontal assault with a large conventional force, may be vulnerable to being captured in a raid.
Zulu-Alpha is in theatre to conduct raids on key terrains and assets along the enemy’s front lines, and as such is tasked with this operation.
Theatre A. Enemy Forces:
Enemy defenders in the marked AO, consist of a platoon of government-sanctioned PMC infantry, reinforced with multiple CSW weapon systems (mostly DShKM) in prepared positions. The enemy has an organic mortar, somewhere in the AO itself (expected to be in the flood plains), along with a weapons cache nearby. This mortar has been used to repel attacks before. The enemy is also known to operate UAVs,
Enemy Infantry One or more IFVs from the town of Topolin are expected to be deployed to the AO in reaction to an attack.
The towns of Radacz and Olszanka have an enemy infantry garrison and are expected to remain in place, guarding those towns.
The enemy has the bridge well defended by CSWs in tactically advantageous positions in tree lines, with each tree block patrolled by 4 to 8 infantry, and have mined the bridge.
The enemy has very little in the way of night vision equipment, but some are possible.
B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu-Alpha in a FOB in the Southern end of the town of Gliniska, guarded by local forces, with some armoured vehicles.
FOB 1) Equipment: Standard equipment, with resupply crates.
2) Surveillance: 1x Darter UAV
3) Ground Vehicles: 1x M1126 ICV M2 CROWS, 1x M1038 (Repair), 1x M1133 MEV, 1x M1129 MC MK19 CROWS
4) Fixed Wing: None
5) Rotary Wing: None
6) Naval: None
Other friendly forces: Garrison in Gliniska
C. Civilian Presence: No civilians in the AO expected.
2. Mission
- Secure the bridge for crossing.
- Find and destroy the enemy mortar.
- Find and destroy the weapons cache.

Avoid straying into hostile territory other than the AO.
The bridge is deemed secure when it is de-mined, and vehicles can safely cross without being shot upon.
