1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 03h30
Lighting: No Moon, Sunrise at 5:15AM, Poor Lighting .
Weather: Clear.A local informant, Albu-Ajeezra Muhammed currently residing within the town of Bora, South East of an enemy stronghold “Biri Boulla” housing a leader of the Militant cell within Kujari, has been compromised. Following a short leaked conversation, he was exposed that he was providing intel to US about enemy movement, strength and convoy routes.
AO – Trusted Friend The Irate Cell-leader has announce publicly that the capture of the local informant is a not negotiated and have set out a bounty of 500 000 rubles for his head.
Scared and no where to turn to, Albu-Ajeezra then frantically contacted the allied friends about his life threat. US Intelligence has decided the key benefits the informant has provided thus far meant for an approved extraction.
Now although HQ agreeing with extraction part of the operation, HQ also further see the strategic benefits of holding the town of Bora as it indirectly effect transport routes and provides a perimeter choke point separating the South and North.
Town Bora This will create an undesired situation for the cell leader as he cannot pull his forces away from south as they are guarding important military installation also he cannot send his security detail south as it exposing him. HQ believes this catch 22 situation will gain US enough time to fortify the town enough before any activity commences. But has warned that the cell leader being humiliated might act differently.
From the Intel gathered by the informant over last the last several weeks several Technical, and what he describes as “double barrel weapons on trucks” probable ZU-23’s, US can expect an intense firefight once assault commences.
A. Enemy Forces: Insurgents, with Technicals, ZU-23’s roughly 30 men as security details and several hundred guarding key structures, unlikely to be in ZA’s AO. Expected detachments from certain group might be expected.
