1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 23H45L 28 May 2009

Weather: clear
U.S. operated oil drills in the mountains of Takistan has come under more and more criticism by the locals and Takistan militia. Zulu-Alpha has been sent to Takistan in the event of an uprising against the US drills. The local militia who is the main opponent to the ruling government has been known to take violent action against those they don’t like.
On the eveing of 27 May 2009, they overran one of the oilfields and took all the workers hostage. Local police have determined that all the hostages are placed around the main tower in the field with one IED wired to be set off by the militia. Numerous other explosives have been placed around the tower to be detonated from the initial IED blast.
Arena A. Enemy Forces:
We don’t know the strength of the militia group but it is estimated that there is at least 20 infantry men scattered around the oil field. The leader of the Malitia is a well know activist against anything government and is known to be a little crazy. He carriers a .50 caliber sniper rifle with a night scope and isn’t afraid to die for the cause.

Zulu-Company, Alpha platoon is stationed just over a kilometer north east of the oil field in an old government army base.

2. Mission
- infiltrate the oil field without being detected to deactivate the IED and free the hostages. Deal swiftly with any enemy units before they can set off the IED.
