Operation Righteous Cleansing

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 04:30L 26 December 2024

Lighting: Pre-dawn, sunrise at 05:40L

Weather: Partly cloudy, unlimited visibility.

We are about to execute the final phase of our operation to push Russian forces out of the Mull of Kintyre. With the assistance of a mechanised infantry company from the 1st MEU, artillery and CAS support, Zulu-Alpha will have an overall command to penetrate the front line, take control of Campbeltown Airport, and raid the regional headquarters for intel and evidence of war crimes.

Theater

A. Enemy Forces:

AO

The remaining elements of the 2nd Tank Guards regiment, which consists of BMPs, BTRs, and T-90s, are conducting a deliberate defence of the Campbeltown plateau. Expect about 20 AFVs remaining and about 150 infantry.

Russian Defenders

They have Artillery support, with a D-30 somewhere in the plateau.

There is also an SA-20 Battery somewhere in the middle of the Plataue (East of the airport), and 2x SA-19s.

They have night vision equipment but have not prepared minefields.

B. Friendly Forces:

Reaper and Ghostrider are aboard the USS Freedom

Zulu-Alpha is starting in the 1st MEU staging Area

Fires from the USS Liberty, in the USS Freedom CG, is on call for fire support using it’s naval gun, contactable on the radio.

The 1st MEU elements under Zulu-Alpha’s Command are:

• 2x LAV Recon Sections
  • 2x LAV-25A1 and 12 infantry each
• 2x M1 Abrams sections
  • 2x M1A2 Abrams TUSK each
• 2x AAV Sections
  • 2x AAVP7/A1 and 26 infantry each

1st MEU

1) Equipment: Standard equipment

2) Surveillance: 2x Micro UAV

3) Ground Vehicles: 1x M1126 ICV M2 CROWS [Slat], 1x HMMWV SOV [MK19], 1x HMMWV SOV [M2], 1x M1165 GMV

4) Fixed Wing: 1x F/A-181 Black Wasp II

5) Rotary Wing:  1x AH-64D, 1x MH-60L DAP [4 Pylons]

6) Naval: N/A

Other friendly forces: Marine infantry companies South of the Front line holding the line.

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians have left the area, except for Campeltown

2. Mission

1. Clear the key points on the front line; Tirfergus Hill, Stewarton and Drumlemble.
2. Gain overall control of Campbeltown Airport; Complete control is not necessary.
3. Raid the HQ in the mansion and conduct SSE.

3. General Instructions

Avoid excessive destruction of buildings in the AO and avoid any damage to the mansion housing the HQ.

Be careful not to lose CAS to the SA-20  battery or to SA-19s
