OPERATION RIGHTEOUS ADVOCATE

Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 13h25 hrs
Weather: Clear, 2Km+ Visibility.
Taito Sitven has learned of the secret agreement between the US Government and the Tanoan Army, which would see the Tanoan Army take power and restore stability to the region. No longer able to trust the inaction of the Tanoan Army after his coup, Taito has made his own agreements with the Bele and other Taito loyal factions within the PRPM to secure his position in power over the region. Other factions, unhappy with Taito’s handling of the PRPs position after the coup, are now revolting against him.

Taito has contacted the base commander at FOB Crusade to request a meeting in an attempt to negotiate a more favourable solution for himself. In the interests of preventing all out civil war between Taito’s extreme PRP with nothing to lose, and the Tanoan Army, Ranger Zulu Company has been tasked with the handling the negotiation and security of this meeting.

A. Enemy Forces

Revolting factions of the PRP have vowed to take Taito out and lead the PRP without compromise into governance of Tanoa. This meeting provides a prime opportunity for this.
Intelligence has indicated that some less-loyal forces of the Tanoan Army are factionalizing ahead of the power grab. Specifically the led by commanders of the forces decimated by Zulu-Alpha on our incursion into Tanoa. They are unable to forgive the US for the initial assault and do not want a pro-western government. We expect that these factions of the Tanoan Army may take this opportunity to neutralize the PRP by removing Taito and display their strength as the future leaders of Tanoa.

B. Friendly Forces

Friendly forces are stationed at FOB Crusade. Tanoan Army 2nd Motorized Infantry are operating North in the Town of Katkoula.

PRP and local Police forces loyal to Taito will operate as his personal security on the Ipotan Island for the duration of the meeting.

Due to the earlier loss of the Harrier and the resulting complete lack of CAS assets, we converted one of the MH-6Ms to a AH-6M configuration.
1) Equipment: Standard NATO equipment at start.
2) Surveillance: None
3) Ground Vehicles: 3x Armed Prowler, 4x unarmed Prowler, 3x HEMMT (Ammo, Repair, Fuel)
4) Fixed Wing: None
5) Rotary Wing: 1 x V-44 Vehicle Transport, 1x V-22 Infantry transport, 1x UH-80, 1x MH6-M, 1x AH-6M
6) Naval: 3x Assault Boats

2. Mission

Arrive at Obj. Sanction (Hotel at Ipota) and secure the area.
CO to meet Taito to conduct negotiations.
Return to FOB Crusade for Debrief.

3. Execution

Insert via air near Ipota to LZ Podium. Move into Ipota and secure the Hotel and immediately surrounding area. Conduct meeting with Taito. Exit Ipota and extract from LZ Podium. Return to FOB Crusade by air.
