1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 22:30L 18 June 2022
Lighting: Night Half moon
Weather: Clear skies.
7 years ago the Prime Minister of Tanoa, Juan Babineaux ordered the sinking of a ship known to transport rebels opposed to his rule. Jacob Babineaux, the Prime Minister’s brother, has always been jealous of his brothers success and has been a secret member of the rebels since it’s inception. This enabled him to give intel to the rebels regarding the government. Jacob and his wife Silvia were both on the doomed ship that dark night. Jacob managed to get off the ship but his Silvia was killed instantly during the strike. As bitter as he was about the death of his wife, he kept near to his brother in the hopes of one day ruling Tanoa himself. The Prime Minister eventually learned of his brothers alliance with the rebels and how Silvia really died. When confronting Jacob with the facts, Jacob made an Oath to his brother to never be involved with the rebels again. Juan, feeling guilty about causing Silvia’s death, never mentioned it to the authorities. Recently one of the Prime Ministers personal guards saw Jacob in a bar with a group of rebels, looking over plans for the assassination of the Prime Minister.
With his brother’s oath broken, the Prime Minister now fears for his live and the stability of Tanoa. Since the U.S. has numerous Oil rigs off the coasts of Tanoa that relies on the stability of the government, and Tanoa not having the specialized forces needed to take care of the situation, Juan Babineaux has requested the assistance of the U.S. Government. Command has had discussions with the Prime Minister regarding his brother and it was decided that as an enemy of Tanoa, Jacob does not need to be taken alive. Command has instructed Zulu Alpha to perform an assassination on Jacob Babineaux and deal with the rebel stronghold on the Island.
Map AO USS Freedom A. Enemy Forces:
Jacob Babineaux and his rebel friends are located at their stronghold, the town of Moddergat, on the large Island South East of the main Island with foot patrols extending into the surrounding forests and hills that could turn into QRF’s. It is known that Jacob visits his wife’s grave at the Moddergat cemetery every year on the night of her death, holding an all-night vigil. A sniper spot, code named “Birds Nest” has been identified by the Minister’s guard. It is the only position with a clear view of the grave site. The Island is well covered with Anti-Air vehicles and the Moddergat Bay is patrolled by several boats.
Jacob Babineaux B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu-Alpha has arrived from the North aboard the USS Freedom, escorted by the USS Liberty destroyer. Both ships have dropped anchor North East of Ravi-Ta Island. The Prime Minister does not want the population to be alarmed by foreign military presence and requested we keep out of sight of the main Island. Ravi-Ta Island has been evacuated under the false pretense of a gas leak at the Hotel.

6) Boats: The Prime Minister had his personal boat hidden at a location on the south of the main Island for use by the sniper team. It has an AR2 Darter stashed inside with extra batteries.
The Tanoa Navy has left 2 x Assault boats at the abandoned Ferry station west of Muaceba on the Mid Western Island for use by by the Zulu-Alpha assault team.
Other friendly forces:
A Seal sniper team consisting of a Marksman (Shooter) and Team leader (Spotter) is four minutes out from a paradrop into “Comms Bravo” on the main Island where they can set the scope on the specially supplied M200 Intervention .408 Magnum at a make shift shooting range (cans on a table at 100 meters). The drop is at 1500 meters altitude at 300 km/h. Pilot advices jumping 400 meters ahead of DZ. The DZ is at 350 meters.
The Navy has placed two additional transport helicopters at our disposal with crew.
C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are only present in the town of Lijnhaven on the target Island.
2. Mission
- Assassinate Jacob Babineaux with a sniper team infiltrating the Island in a stealthy manner.
- Once Jacob Babineaux is dead, launch a full-on assault on Moddergat, eliminating rebels and weapons staches.
- Avoid civilian casualties where possible
- The Prime Minister has authorized collateral damage to the rebel occupied area.
3. General Instructions

4. Specific Instructions
- Seal Team kits up from the plane’s inventory and places backpack on chest before equipping with a steerable parachute. Guiles suits are supplied as an option but be mindful that it has no equipment storage.
- The Seal Team is to call Rodeo One on the Combat Support Tablet for transport to the Prime Minister’s boat location once the scope is zeroed.
- The sniper team needs to down the HVT before an assault is launched on the general area to avoid Jacob Babineaux escaping into the dark forests.
Special Requirements:
Seal Team members are to be familiar with setting scopes manually and setting a zero, reading a range card, operating a Kestrel 4500NV and the Vector 21 Nite binoculars, as well as the full workings of the GD300 Android.
