1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 14 February 2022, 07:00
Lighting: Morning Daylight
Weather: Clear visibility.A civil uprising recently erupted in Lithium and the authoritarian government deployed the military to prevent an overthrow of the government. The military has been using brutal force against the civilian population, hunting anyone deemed to be involved in the uprising and torturing and executing them at will.
The United Nations Security Council passed an emergency resolution to deploy a peacekeeping force to Lithium, with Zulu-Alpha being deployed ahead of the main forces as an immediate crisis intervention. Zulu-Alpha is to operate under direct command of the United Nations High Command and under strict Rules of Engagement (R.O.E).

AO 
MSR Start A. Enemy Forces: The Lithium armed forces have deployed a battalion-sized force along the MSR and throughout the area. They have bases at IbanCampBase and PelotonCampBase, with their HQ believed to be situated at GreenCampBase. Their forces include armoured, mechanised, motorised and general infantry. They do not have air or anti-air assets. They have, to date, not been hostile to UN forces.
B. Friendly Forces: Zulu-Alpha, operating under United Nations command, is stationed to the South at Kinduf airport

C. Civilian Presence: There is a general civilian population present throughout the AO. They are friendly to UN forces.
2. Mission
- Patrol the MSR between the indicated markers.
- Report any acts of violence by the Lithium Forces to UN High Command, codename: “BOSSMAN”
- Follow strict R.O.E restrictions as follows:
- UN forces are only allowed to return fire if fired upon directly
- Any changes to the R.O.E must be cleared by UN High Command on BOSSMAN radio
3. General Instructions.
- Patrol the MSR and present a show-of-force stature to deter the Lithium armed forces from escalating violence.
- No direct action is authorized unless cleared by UN High Command.
- Observed acts of violence by Lithium forces must be reported to UN High Command on BOSSMAN radio
4. Specific Instructions
- Patrol along the MSR
- Rules of Engagement are to only return fire if fired upon directly.
- CO to contact BOSSMAN using the backspace radio menu
