1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 05:45hrs
Lighting: Fullmoon, Scattered Clouds
Weather: Low-level medium fog 50m ASL, Visibility 200m on Ocean, 50m in the jungle. Expected to clear with daybreak around 6:10 am
For months the Tanoa Militia and civilians have been suppressed by a Rebel syndicate, Cultivating the rich fertile soil into a thriving drug trafficking operation that has attracted a generous amount of illegal investment in weaponry and vehicle assets. Some assets raised eyebrows when an anonymous donator and probably an investor donated 12x 4WD jeeps with mounted guns dubbed “the swarm” acting under a direct command of the Syndicate leader codename “Hound”. This ruthless bunch of pack dogs are the very threat that sparked attention by NATO to act after they went on a shooting spree to demonstrate their power and flex their muscles.
Theatre An Unknown civilian codename “Fox” could be part of the drug operation and is seen as a potential sponsor. Boasting a fancy new 50 cal sniper rifle and wearing tracksuit is classified as an HVT civilian and the US want to bring him in alive for further questioning. From what HQ has learned the Syndicate leader Codename “Hound” has a personalised friendship with the Fox and is deemed as the second HVT. Being in direct command of the Swarm will see them responding to any situation he calls for…
A close Ally, Codename “Hare” is in charge of the Drug manufacturing on the smaller island and in charge of calling for logistical runs… He is therefore deemed the third HVT. HQ also believes that there is some way the news should reach the Hound and cautions ZA to proceed with care and allow this “Messenger” once identified be left alone and get the message to Hound. HQ would presume this to be a boat with the shortest travel time.
HQ has devised a probable scenario that by killing the Hare, would send the Hound into an outraged frenzy and could prompt him utilizing the swarm to his full effect. This makes the bridge a key element in creating a choke point.
Due to the nature of this operation, syndicate forces like to stick to their speciality in jungle warfare, so very little can be expected on the ocean…

- Immobilize the Swarm.
- Make sure no-one escapes via plane/boats that is an HVT.
