1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 00:00L
Lighting: Midnight – no moon
Weather: High visibility, partly cloudy
Following the crushing loss of Zulu Company, Alpha Platoon forces in Operation Denver, IS forces have gone to ground with the hostages from Denver. Recovery operations report 1-1 FTL Lt. zeMuppet MIA.
An execution propaganda video showing one of the workers from Denver was released. Intelligence operations have traced the source of the video to a cave complex in the SE of Zargabad.
A. Enemy Forces:
IS regular militia with Eastern bloc and NATO small arms. Some larger caliber weapons have also been encountered. A MANPAD threat is also likely. IS have gone into hiding.
B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu-Alpha have deployed into the AO from a convoy of transport trucks.

C. Civilian Presence: There is a small number of civilians. They are expected to remain neutral.

- Identify and recover any hostages
- Destroy any enemy assets of worth
- Withdraw back to the convoy for extraction
3. Execution
- Move to the cave entrance from the NW
- Enter and sweep with caution, possibility of mines or traps
- Gather any intelligence
