Operation Harpoon

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 22:30hrs

Lighting:  Low Ambient light, very low visibility

Weather:  Thunderstorm, Visibility 1000m, fog expected to clear after thunderstorm.

Today we have a critical situation on our hands after many nations were cleverly deceived by the CSAT faction when talks started back in 2014 with the Russian federation for the purchase of two Nuclear Submarines, the UN were and US government was aware of such talks however… CSAT naval commander “Ulrich Ustafsen” is power hungry and has gone rogue after delivery was taken of these subs end 2016.

Ulrich has been increasingly issuing threats to launch two nuclear missiles to hit Washington DC and Moscow to such an extend that both governments from the US and the USSR have agreed on a joint operation Called “Harpoon” on the island of Altis to secure the two submarines code named “Lucy” and “Anna’

a Reconnaissance mission earlier revealed that a formidable QRF is stationed a mere 1km away from “Harpoon” and NATO feels the mission success is critical and has tasked Zulu-Alpha with this important primary mission of securing Lucy and and Anna, NATO is leading the coalition forces on the ground and has ordered the USSR to deal with the QRF, their success will determine partially Zulu-Alpha’s Success. If they fail at their task then Zulu-Alpha has to deal with the QRF aswell.

Intel revealed and vast majority of infantry with about two technicals stationed at Harpoon, but the recon team has reported the engagement and elimination of viper squadron patrols around the objective which makes that ingress route for Zulu-Alpha a difficult one.

HQ has ordered that Zulu Alpha perform a hard assault with minimal time loss to reduce the chance for the QRF to react and ordered to steer away from the USSR engagement with the QRF as they don’t want any blue on blue fire

FOB Harpoon

 

A. Enemy Forces: CSAT infantry with light-skin technicals. various support Vehicles and Infantry stationed at QRF Base

B. Friendly Forces: USSR and ZULU Alpha stationed at “FOB Importance”.

1) Equipment: Standard Equipment.

2) Surveillance: None

3) Ground Vehicles:  None

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: 1x CH47 Huron

Other friendly forces: USSR attacking the QRF at the AO. QRF is stationed at Niri

C. Civilian Presence:  Mostly in villages

2. Mission

1. Ingress to Objective Harpoon.
2. Secure “Lucy” and “Anna” at Panachori Bay
3. Locate and Eliminate “Ulrich Ustafsen”
4. Defend against any QRF.

3. Executions

CO may proceed as he sees fit and to actively avoiding the USSR engagement
