Operation “Grinding Teeth”
Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 19:30hrs
Lighting: Dusk, Waxing Moon Phase
Weather: Very light fog expected to clear soon, 1000m Visibility, Clear Skies predicted for the rest of the evening.
On the Morning of Thursday 22nd around 3:00 am, a Russian recon team managed to sneak onto the island of Stratis and sabotage the radar and communication network… Which led to a surprise attack and seized almost all outposts expect for the last two remaining US bases, the Main Airbase and “FOB Winchester“, a revamped “Camp Maxwell”
Zulu-Alpha, at the time, was stationed to guard FOB Manchester and seems to be our last hope to hold the last stronghold.
Severe US casualties have seen the Russians gain massive ground on the island of Stratis with the US losing almost all assets except for a few big guns left at the main airfield, Although these assets are available they cannot be reached due to the network outage.
Zulu Alpha is to defend the FOB while the CO gets word to the Airfield and call in the support… The only method of transport left is a Prowler (Unarmed).
HQ reckons the Russians can only sustain the assault for another 90min in which mission success could be declared with minimal reinforcements expected.
“FOB Winchester” A. Enemy Forces: Russians advancing onto FOB Winchester with small pockets of infantry scattered around the FOB.
B. Friendly Forces: ZA at FOB Winchester and some US forces at Main Airfield
