1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 08H30
Lighting: Day
Weather: Overcast, light rain, calm winds.Decades long tension between the US and Sahrani may finally come to and end, Sahrani has been mining Uranium in an open groove mine in the north and selling it to US enemies. After years of negotiations the mine was finally closed and the leader of Sahrani has agreed to a visit by the US Secretary of Defense who flew into Sahrani yesterday. The SOD and the Sahrani leader will hold further peace talks later today after a brief helicopter tour of the Island and a visit to the closed mine. The personal aid to the SOD will also be given a tour of the Island by vehicle, visiting various towns to determine the social needs of the people as agreed to between the US and Sahrani. Zulu-Alpha D1,D2,D5 and Ghostrider arrived during the night on USS Liberty and anchored in the bay of Abra da Boca as a security backup. The presence of USS Liberty was agreed to by Sahrani with the understanding that troops will remain onboard. Shortly before the departure of of the helicopter tour, a fishing vessel with a white flag approached USS Liberty. The man dressed in civilian clothing claimed to be an office worker in the office of the Sahrani military leader Col. Fale Erenavula who will be in charge of the vehicle tour on the island. He brought with him photos he took of a map he found in the Colonel’s office. It shows the exact flight path and itinerary of the helicopter tour with 3 areas marked as kill zones. He informed us that the kill zones are all in close proximity to MK21 Centurion SAM sites which are supposed to be deactivated for the visit. He believes that the Colonel is not agreeable to the new peace between the two countries and plans to kill the SOD and the Sahrani leader. The informant told us he was able to place a tracking device in Col. Erenavula’s briefcase that will ping their location every 60 seconds.
Zulu-Alpha tried to contact the SOD but communications have been blocked. A quick discussion with Command led to Zulu-Alpha being tasked to eliminate the threat without causing an international incident that may hinder the peace talks. The helicopter tour is taking off in 10 minutes.
AO USS Liberty A. Enemy Forces: Sahrani army loyal to Colonel Erenavula. It is expected that the SAM sites will be defended by any means to avoid interferance with the Colonel’s plans.
B. Friendly Forces: Zulu-Alpha is stationed on USS Liberty
1) Equipment: Standard equipment. Resupply on USS Liberty
2) Surveillance: None
3) Ground Vehicles: 2x Civilian Transport Vans located at the Corazol harbour meant for Zulu-Alpha to attend a formal dinner at the end of the visit.
4) Fixed Wing: None
5) Rotary Wing: 1 x UH-60M (Unarmed) on USS Liberty
6) Naval: 1 x Assault boat at the port side towards the stern

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians have been ordered to stay indoors for the duration of the tour
2. Mission
- Destroy the 3 x Mk21 Centurion SAM’s before the helicopter tour enters the kill zones.
- Use the tracker pings to locate and ambush the Colonel’s SUV in open terrain and liberate the SOD’s aid. The Colonel can be taken dead or alive.
3. General Instructions.
Kit up and get moving. NO TIME TO WASTE.
4. Specific Instructions
Avoid visual contact with either of the tours. We are not supposed to operate inland. Don’t expect the helicopter tour to keep to itinerary to the minute.
