1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 17 October 2005 at 09:00.
Lighting: Clear sky, unlimited visibility.
Weather: 26°C, no wind nor clouds.
Situation:
The US 15th regiment is stationed in between two Forward Operating Bases, with ZA Armour Badger stationed at FOB Bushlurker Camp. From FOB Bushlurker the ZA Armour has conducted multiple operations around, particularly into the east and north-east to uphold the front lines. However, the mountains to the north and north-east are still hostile with insurgents constantly reinforcing the area.
Seven kilometres to the north of Bushlurker lies two of the most exposed FOBs in the area. Martin FOB and Peusto Vulcan FOB both of which requires a resupply to ensure that the US can hold the north of Lythium. Due to the hardness of the environment in which these FOB’s lie the north-south route is often overrun by insurgents in the hopes of cutting off the Northern territory from US supply routes.
Today ZA Armour Badger along with Dragon is tasked with clearing the north-south route between the three FOBs. Along with the Badger and Dragon crew, the resupply trucks need to be moved up the route, with the fuel trucks destination being Peusto Vulkan FOB and the ammo and repair vehicles need to be moved to Martin FOB.

MTVR to resupply FOBs Terrain:
The terrain is exceptionally mountains to the north and north-east, the main north-south route runs on the high ground with two broad valleys on each side. Some small populated villages lie next to the route, and other villages can be found across the valley to the west, east and north. The insurgent’s presence in the mountains to the north and north-east provides them with a great advantage.
Supply route A. Enemy Forces:
Insurgence holds the north and north-east of Lytium, patrols along the mountain ranges can be expected. The insurgents regularly try to retake the north-south resupply route and some technicals can be expected to drive onto the convoy.
B. Friendly Forces:
Zulu Company, Alpha Platoon along with Armour Badger, is stationed at the US FOB Bushlurker Camp in northern Lytium.
