    1. SITUATION

    Situation Time: 05:24L 31 December 2023

    Lighting: Half Moon, first light 06:24L

    Weather: Clear skies 300m elevation fog with 500m visibility, unlimited visibility at higher altitudes. The fog is expected to clear within 2 hours.

    Dragons is returning from a successful raid on an ISIS-K weapons cache in Benamair, exfiling via Superior Valley on foot for pickup by Ghostrider. However, ISIS-K QRF has arrived faster and in larger force than expected, and have determined Dragon’s approximate exfil route, and on top of that, have managed to obtain several MANPADs and a radio jammer, jamming both radio communications and navigation equipment.

    Dragon needs to get out of Superior Valley and extract back to Kalae Noowi with the help of Ghostrider.

    A. Enemy Forces:

    ISIS-K has squads spread out all around Superior Valley, with the intent to box in, locate and destroy Dragon, preventing communications and support from Ghostrider or reinforcements by jamming communications and area denail with MANPADs.

    The radio jammer is located on a small, tracked vehicle, with a jamming range of approximately 3KM. Destroying it or moving out of it’s range will stop the jamming.

    ISIS-K may have moved heavy weapons such as DShKs in the hills surrounding the valley, but their LoS is currently limited by the fog. It is not clear how many MANPADs are currently in use, but they are currently restricted to the superior valley area.

    B. Friendly Forces:

    Zulu-Company, Alpha platoon squds Dragon’1, 3 and 5 are currently in Superior Valley. There are no casualties due to the previous operation, however much of their munitions have been expended. They are equipped for night operations and with standard loadouts but with reduced ammunition.
