1. SITUATION

Time: 05:00 hrs

Weather: Clear, + 3Km Visibility

The World has gone to hell in a hand basket, the crisis in the Ukraine has escalated to the piont where miiltary intervention by the rest of the

world has become an imperative. UN Resolution S/RES/2179 (2014) has given authority to international forces to make strikes against the Russian

supplied rebel forces. Fulfilling their interntational treaties Zulu-Alpha have been deployed into the area.

Area of Operations

A: Enemy Forces:

Enemy concentration in the area is high. The rebels are well armed with Warsaw Pact weapons and weapons systems which include T-55 MBT’s, BMP-

1’s, ZSU-23-4 Shilka’s and technicals.

B: Friendly Forces:

Zulu-Alpha D-Troop has insterted into the area via HMMWV and is currently located at FUP Alpha, ZA operators have access to limited armaments

and supplies. An AH-99 comanche is available for CAS but any AAA in the area needs to be destroyed before it can be brought on station.

C: Mission

Zulu-Alpha D-Troops mission is to undertake a dawn raid on a rebel held airbase and destroy as many assets as possible. Targets include the AA radar and antenna farm at Obj Josef, aircraft and helicopters at Obj Jan, transport planes at Obj Winston and the armour at Obj Franklin. There are barracks at the Southern end of the runway and it is possible that reinforments may come from this area.
