1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 22:44L

Lighting: Full Moon,

Weather: High visibility, partly cloudy

A message from the CDP has been received, describing a contact in the town of Jaya. Command has cleared Zulu-Alpha to make contact with him and begin supplying the CDP, as per Phase 1 of the campaign.

A. Enemy Forces:

The DPP appears to be on high alert status, with the bulk of their forces to the East of the Western island and at the radar dome near the airfield. Coastal boat patrols have also been spotted.

B. Friendly Forces:

Zulu-Alpha is based on the U.S.S Liberty, which is several Km off the West coast of Jaya. There are 2 speedboats available and the port boat launcher has all of the munition crates for the CDP. U.S involvement is supposed to be minimal, so the U.S.S Liberty cannot provide fires support, and there is an active radar on the Western island, so use of the UH-60 on board is prohibited.

The exact strength and position of the CDP are unknown.

6) Naval: 2x Speedboad Minigun

Other friendly forces: Likely CDP guerillas on the Western island.

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are likely to be friendly to U.S involvement. The towns and villages are populated with them.

2. Mission

Zulu-Alpha is to make contact with the CDP informant in order to determine how and where arms crates can be delivered and then deliver them.

3. General Instructions

The contact is noted as wearing a red hard hat and is involved with salvaging rubble from the town of Jaya.
