1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 01:00hrs

Lighting: Half moon

Weather: Unlimited visibility, no clouds

An arachnologist named Peter Jaeger has been kidnapped by a local rebel force on Tanoa called the Syndikat. Intelligence beleives that the syndikat intend to ransom him in order to finance their operations.

Since he is an american citizen and you are currently aboard the LHD-9 Bikini off the coast of Tanoa, SOCOM has tasked you, Zulu Company, Alpha platoon to organize the rescue

A. Enemy Forces: The syndicat has not been able to perform high intensity operations against the government and are thus not seen as a high risk threat by the government at the moment, however CIA intelligence assets have reported that they are currently hiding in the jungles and towns that are sympathetic to them and are amassing arms.The syndicat are located in what intelligence is calling the syndicat outer zone. They will patrol this area and perform shows of force, but their concentration is small there. The syndikat inner zone, is where they are amassing their forces and will fight bitterly to keep control of. Peter Jaeger is expectd to be located in a camp or village in the Syndikat core zone and well hidden.

Expect no more than company strength in the entire syndikat zone, however they are well motivated and trained.
