1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 05:00hrs

Lighting: Night, Full moon. Sunrise at 05:54hrs

Weather: Clear, Unlimited Visibility.

The Merkez Cartel was bloodied in operation Jack in the Box and the Bozcaada government was satisfied with our recovery of their politicians and gave their condolences for the reprisal execution of the former CIA station chief, Bill Stechner.

The Bozcaada government wants to regain control of the theater and is starting with the city of Merkez itself. One of the last acts of Bill Stechner was arranging the infiltration of the supply chain of the Merkez Cartel, allowing the CIA to plant radio transponders on supply shipments to caches within Merkez, and the CIA believes that the same buildings that house the tagged shipments could be important strongholds within the city.

It is now time for ZA to conduct direct action raids on those suspected strongholds with the help of the CIA undercover team, call-sign Capuchin.

A. Enemy Forces: The Merkez cartel is able to safely hide in the lowest income parts of Merkez, which are the suburbs of Westcliff and Safetown. Both suburbs are controlled by the Merkez cartel and the police dare not enter them.

Initial readings from the transponders suggests that there are 3 enemy strongholds, all three of which are in those suburbs.

Cartel numbers are not expected to be that high, however there are a number of gang members in the suburbs that work for the Cartel that may be armed with concealed weapons and engage any intruders.

The main Cartel troops are of the same quality as before (armed with high-quality weapons from the open market and trained by Israeli and South African instructors and are very well paid).

B. Friendly Forces:  The Bozcaada police have a secure police compound in the middle of the city that they have given to us as a base of operations. They will also be guarding the compound for us.

3) Ground Vehicles: 4x up-armored HMMWV, 2x Transport HMMWV, several CIA civilian vehicles.

Other friendly forces: Police are stationed at the compound, providing guard duty.

C. Civilian Presence:  There is a high concentration of civilians in the city of Markez, who are not very sympathetic to either the government or the Cartel, due to being tired of the hostilities.

2. Mission

1. Find the 3 enemy strongholds, then destroy them with minimal collateral damage and arrest everyone in the building.

3. Execution

1. Use your undercover CIA team (call-sign Capuchin) to find the strongholds. They have radio receivers that can pick up proximity of the strongholds based on signal strength.
2. Minimize civilian loss of life and collateral damage.
