Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 08:00 hrs

Lighting: Full Moon

Weather: Unlimited Visibility, Clear

The Iraqi government has been loosing much ground to ISIS forces in recent weeks due to the renewed ISIS offensive. It has gotten to the point that several key towns will need to be evacuated. Therefore key Zulu-Alpha is tasked with evacuating key Western functionaries from several towns in the region.

 

A. Enemy Forces: ISIS forces consist of well armed, fast moving light infantry. They utilize technicals for mobility and fire support. ISIS are currently attacking the towns of Karachinar (where objective Cockatoo is located), Chardarakht (where objective Parrot is located) and Nur (where objective Macaw is located). ISIS attacks are normally of company strength. All the towns are expected to fall within the hour.

 

B. Friendly Forces: You’r entire platoon is located at FOB Essos.

1) Equipment: Limited equipment is available at the FOB.

2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs

3) Ground Vehicles: Ammo, Fuel and Repair HMMETs

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: 2x UH-60, 1x AH-6

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: Iraqi governmental forces are defending the towns in question and consist of up to platoon strength at each town. They have access to Bluforce tracker systems and will update your maps with known enemy and friendly locations.

 

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians occupy all towns and should remain neutral.

 

2. Mission

Your objectives are to extract the 2 functionaries from Karachinar, 4 functionaries from Chardarakht and 3 functionaries from Nur back to FOB Essos.

 

3. Execution

1. Extract the following persons back to FOB Essos:
   1. 2 functionaries located in the building marked OBJ Cockatoo in Karachinar.
   2. 4 functionaries located in the building marked OBJ Parrot in Chardarakht.
   3. 3 functionaries located in the building marked OBJ Macaws in Nur.
2. Avoid civilian casualties and minimize friendly casualties.
