Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 10:45 hrs

Lighting: Clear

Weather: 3Km Visibility

Despite taking heavy contact Zulu-Alpha Ranger Troop Delta has successfully cleared out the eastern bank of the river and secured both the southern and northern bridges and have regrouped inside one of the clear compounds just to the north of the northern bridge. ZA Ranger Troop D is still in contact.
 

A. Enemy Forces: Enemy forces are typical Afghani insurgent forces, armed with Soviet Era small arms. The insurgents are firmly entrenched in the AO and have completely dominated the local population. As such there are no friendlies in the area and any military aged may can be considered an enemy combatant

B. Friendly Forces: Zulu-Alpha Ranger Troop Delta has set up a FUP in the compound at (029 039) and has received resupply in preparation for clearing the western bank of the river.

1) Equipment: Standard limited ammo and equipment incl. 1x Mortar

2) Surveillance: 1 x Raven RQ-11

3) Ground Vehicles: 1x UGV

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: None

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: None

C. Civilian Presence: Any civilians if present are to be considered hostile.

2. Mission

Your force is to continue with its mission and clear out the hostiles from the western bank of the river.

3. Execution

CO can proceed as they see fit.

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel in the area

B. MEDICAL SUPPORT Zulu-Alpha handles medical requirements internally.

C. LOGISTICAL SUPPORT Zulu-Alpha handles logistical requirements internally.
