1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 09:00 hrs

Lighting: Clear skies

Weather: 3Km Visibility

Thanks to Zulu-Company, Alpha platoon, NATO forces control virtually all of central Takistan, with a few ISIS pockets of resistance remaining.

We are on the final leg of out Takistani Operation, which must start with breaking though the final major line of ISIS defenses, along the Southern Takistani mountain range. The only western supply route through the mountains is via MSR claire, which is the focal point of the ISIS’s western defenses and A platoon must breech that defense.

 

A. Enemy Forces: The main ISIS defense force in the West is focused around OBJ Booza Pitt (which is expected to be used as a forward defense), and OBJ Sharp. All of Takistan South of the mountain range is expected to be occupied by ISIS. They are expected to have an infantry company spread between OBJ Sharp and Obj Booza Pitt. ISIS has access to several MBTs and IFVs with the primary concentration of Armour likely in their rear with their primary military objectives and oil infrastructure. They have a few MANPADs and mobile AAAs (primarily ZSU-23-4), which are expected to be focused around OBJ Sharp in order to act as a AA umbrella. ISIS forces are expected to react to any attack on a key objective with infantry or mechanized forces.

There is also a moderate IED threat in the form of buried roadside IEDs and VBIEDs. There has also been several instances of suicide bombers in the last few weeks and are expected to intensify

 

B. Friendly Forces: Your unit is located at OBJ Underwood, with your aerial assets at Rasman AFB.

1) Equipment: Standard limited ammo and equipment.

2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs and 2x YABHON-R3

3) Ground Vehicles: 2x UGVs, 2x M-ATV, 1x Patria AMV

4) Fixed Wing: 2x YABHON-R3 with 2x LGBs each, 1x A10

5) Rotary Wing: 1x CH-47F, 1x UH-60M

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: Eagle Company is tasked with holding territory taken by NATO forces and will launch an attack in the Eastern half of the theatre.

 

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are located throughout the region in all towns. Some may be hostile to US forces and ISIS forces as well.

 

2. Mission

Your force is to take clear MSR Clair up to and including OBJ Sharp and hold OBJ Sharp against any enemy counter attack.

 

3. Execution

The CO should proceed as he\she sees fit

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel that are clearly ISIS. Otherwise only fire if fired upon.
