Op Scuffle – WARNORD

Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 04:15 hrs

Lighting: Clear skies, First Light at 04:30 hrs

Weather: 3Km Visibility

NATO forces have successfully gained a foothold in central Takistan yesterday evening, due in part to the unexpectedly weak ISIS defenses. Z Company, Alpha platoon is now tasked with consolidating the US hold on central Takistan and ensure our existing hols is not lost.

 

 

A. Enemy Forces: ISIS forces are located throughout the region, South of the Bastam (line marked on the map) in much the same way as before, with the exception of the vilages along the MSR leading up to OBJ Petrov. They are expected to occupy all towns and military installations, at about squad to platoon level strength. ISIS has access to several MBTs and IFVs with the primary concentration of Armour likely in the Southern part of the theater with their primary military objectives and oil infrastructure. They have a few MANPADs and mobile AAAs (primarily ZSU-23-4), which are expected to be spread evenly throughout the Theater. ISIS forces are expected to react to any attack on a key objective with infantry or mechanized forces.

ISIS forces may also attempt a counter-attack with the intent to push NATO forces back out central Takistan.

There is also a moderate IED threat in the form of buried roadside IEDs and VBIEDs. There has also been several instances of suicide bombers in the last few weeks and are expected to intensify

 

B. Friendly Forces: Your unit is located at OBJ Storin, with your aerial assets at Rasman AFB.

1) Equipment: Standard limited ammo and equipment.

2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs and 2x YABHON-R3

3) Ground Vehicles: 2x UGVs, 2x M-ATV, 1x M2A3 BUSK III

4) Fixed Wing: 2x YABHON-R3 with 2x LGBs each, 1x A10

5) Rotary Wing: 1x CH-47F, 1x UH-60M

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: Eagle Company is tasked with holding Objectives Stamper, O’Neill, Petrov, Storin and Meechum.

 

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are located throughout the region in all towns. Some may be hostile to US forces and ISIS forces as well.

 

2. Mission

Your force is to take at least 3 of the following objectives in any order by 06:30: Objectives Underwood, Booza Pitt, Harding, Makepeace, Corder, Mycroft. In addition to this your force must ensure US forces maintain control of Objectives Stamper, O’Neill, Petrov, Storin and Meechum by assisting Egale Company.

 

3. Execution

You have access to a Bradley IFV, so exploiting the High mobility it affords your unit is highly recommended to quickly move your infantry between objectives and provide overwhelming firepower to any position as needed, including back to US positions in order to assist Eagle Company in holding our gains.

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel that are clearly ISIS. Otherwise only fire if fired upon.
