Operation Bash In

Description:

1. SITUATION

Situation Time: 18:00 hrs

Lighting: Clear skies, Last Light at 19:45 hrs

Weather: 3Km Visibility

After the failed assault on Objective Urquhart and the loss of a Ranger platoon, ISIS force have been emboldened and Allied command have requested reinforcements in order to try a more direct approach at driving ISIS out of Takistan..

Operation Bash in will be a direct, frontal assault with heavier support and the assistance of Eagle company to hold ground.

 

A. Enemy Forces: ISIS forces are still located throughout the region, South of the Bastam (line marked on the map) and their positions are expected to remain the same. They are expected to occupy all towns and military installations, at about squad to platoon level strength. ISIS has access to several MBTs and IFVs with the primary concentration of Armour likely in the Southern part of the theater with their primary military objectives and oil infrastructure. They have a few MANPADs and mobile AAAs (primarily ZSU-23-4), which are expected to be spread evenly throughout the Theater. ISIS forces are expected to react to any attack on a key objective with infantry or mechanized forces.

There is also a moderate IED threat in the form of buried roadside IEDs and VBIEDs. There has also been several instances of suicide bombers in the last few weeks and are expected to intensify

 

B. Friendly Forces: Your unit is located at Rasman AFB, along with your aerial assets.

1) Equipment: Standard limited ammo and equipment.

2) Surveillance: Several micro UAVs and 2x YABHON-R3

3) Ground Vehicles: 2x UGVs, 2x RG-33 (M2), 2x RG-33

4) Fixed Wing: 2x YABHON-R3 with 2x LGBs each, 1x A10

5) Rotary Wing: 1x CH-47F, 1x UH-60M

6) Naval: None

Other friendly forces: Eagle Company is tasked with holding territory taken by Alpha Platoon and may conduct their own patrols into enemy territory.

 

C. Civilian Presence: Civilians are located throughout the region in all towns. Some may be hostile to US forces and ISIS forces as well.

 

2. Mission

Your force is to take Objectives Stamper, O’Neill, Storin, Petrov and Meechum, with the intention of controlling the center of Takistan and the flow of supplies through MSR Francis.

 

3. Execution

Your force is to deploy via air or land and assault and take the objectives in any order and way seen fit by the CO and once taken, held with the assistance of Eagle company.

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel that are clearly ISIS. Otherwise only fire if fired upon.
