1. SITUATION

The pirate and gurilla forces of Nziwasogo have expanded their influence Westard into the Captial. They moved from hijacking vehicles to even convoys to all out roadblocks in order to control the supply routes of Western Nziwasogo and charge tolls. The most important MSR, MSR Capua goes from the port of Bakaho, all the way through the cities of Forecahira and Kedougou. Command wants a show of force in the region by showing the pirates that we still control the MSR by driving a convoy right through it without taking any significant losses.

A. Enemy Forces:

There are expected to be a sizable number of pirates along the MSR and primarily in Forecahira and Kedougou, equipped with small arms, RPGs, some crew served weapons and technicals. They are expected to fortify some of the buildings along the MSR to provide a base of fire for the roadblocks, some of which are expected to be hasty and others deliberate. They are also expected to be using IEDs, with only manual, remote detonation triggers discovered so far.

B. Friendly Forces:

Your force (SAS, D-Troop – Zulu-Alpha) is located in FOB Sulla, which is located in Bakaho, with the air wing located in FOB Juniper.

1) Equipment: You are limited to standard small arms.

2) Surveillance: 1x micro UAV

3) Ground Vehicles: 3x M2 HMMWV up-armored, 1x HEMMT Tropp transport, 2x HEMMT Cargo.

4) Fixed Wing: None

5) Rotary Wing: 2x MH-9, 1x MH-47E, 1x AH-9

Other friendly forces: Friendly coalition forces hold Bakaho and Vumba (at the end of the MSR)

C. Civilian Presence:

Civilians occupy the area in large numbers and operate the vehicles. They are neutral to your forces and are also expected to be neutral to the enemy force.

2. Mission

Your force is to conduct a show of force and convoy escort (the HEMMTs) along MSR Capua, by clearing all roadblocks and IEDs along the MSR from FOB Sulla to FOB Stilicho in Vumba.

3. Execution

The CO may proceed as he\she sees fit.

ROE: You are free to engage all armed personnel. Minimize collateral and civilian casualties.

IEDs can be destroyed with gunfire or explosives and can also be disarmed with the AGM difusal kit. The LS of each patrol is an explosives specialist.
