• Enemy – The compounds are very defensible, with multiple compounds with overlapping fields of fire and an airfield exposed to fires from great range due to the flat terrain surrounded by hills.

 

• Friendly – LOE is no further South than 22 Northing. The AO is surrounded by the coast, which can be used to stage assaults.

• BattleGroup commanders intent – The primary objective of Operation HashKiller is the elimination of Christakis Pavli. Supplementary objectives are the elimination of the AA positions to enable CAS and the destruction of the air asset at the airfield to prevent Pavli from fleeing the country.

 

• Any section lead may contact Anvil from UCAV support, once the 3 MANPADs are destroyed.

2. Mission

 

• The overall mission intention – To kill the HVT Christakis Pavli in the compound at (2690 2430) in order to destroy the enemie’s leadership. Destruction of the

 

 

 

3. Execution

 

A. Concept of Operations

 

• C.O’s Intent – To rapidly attack and destroy targets from the sea and return to it, while emphasizing security and situational awareness.

 

• Scheme of maneuver – Bravo will travel in assault boats manned by Alpha. Alpha will always man the boats and not abandon them.

 

• Main Effort – Bravo will disembark to destroy the targets, while Alpha provides transport and fire support and Anvil providing UAV and coordination support.

 

 

 

B. Mission Statements

 

• Alpha Section – Will man the boats in order to transport Bravo section to their objectives and enable mobility for them, to provide fire support and to prevent the sabotage of their boats.

 

• Bravo Section – Will be transported by Alpha section via boats and will attack the most vulnerable objectives first in order to systematically and safely destroy the enemy presence.

 

• Anvil – Will provide UAV support and co-ordinating instructions in order to keep the troop informed and have it direct its actions most effectively.

 

• Summary – Bravo will disembark to destroy the targets, while Alpha provides transport and fire support and Anvil providing UAV and coordination support.

 

 

 

C. Coordinating instructions

 

• Preliminary Moves – All units will be air lifted by Anvil from Gravia AFB to FOB Charlie for kit-up.

 

• Coordinating Fire – Large concentrations of enemies, compounds and technicals.

 

• Re-Org Instructions – The last beach landing area will be the Rally-point for bravo section and the latest FUP designated by Anvil out in the ocean will be the Rally-point for Alpha Section.

• Capture of MANPAD – ‘Destroy’ by taking MANPAD and abandoning it in a location that will not be discovered by the enemy.
