Scheduled for Sunday the 15th of September
Description:
1. SITUATION
Situation Time: 05:00 hrs
Weather: Partly cloudy, 3Km Visibility
Elements of the Irregular forces of the Greek National Front (GNF) have retreated into a sector deep inside Altis in which all enemy activity is expected to be concentrated (marked by a large red rectangle in the Situational Map of Altis). The GNF are now headquartered in the town of Galati in the middle of this zone and are using it as their stronghold. We are to take and hold this stronghold of the GNF.

Altis Situation A. Enemy Forces: The GNF is mostly composed by irregular infantry armed with 5.56 small arms, some LMGs and light AT weapons. They also have several technicals in their positions and .50cal CSWs. The major weapon of concern are the 4 ZSU-39 Tigris Mobile AA vehicles, which are equipped with SAMs and AAA that the GNF have managed to preserve and are expected to be fully operational. These SAMs prevent the valuable air-cover needed for this operation. Intelligence however, have identified their approximate locations (marked by their red circles) based on recent data and are all expected to be there. Whats more, the SAMs are kept far away from any GNF stronghold or outpost, and are expected to be lightly guarded, as the GNF are trying to keep these vehicles hidden.
Before Air-support can be called in, those 4 SAMs must be destroyed.

Map of the AO The GNF have approximately a Troop if infantry in Galati, with 2 active technicals and at least 4 HMG’s in bunkers guarding the entrances to the town. There is also possible HMG’s and abut a section of infantry at the outpost NW of Galati controlling the valley. There is a small convoy of 3 technicals and a truck transport patrolling the open plains to the East of Galati, and a dozen 3 to 5 man patrols guarding the whole AO inside the marked red rectangle along with a few lone technicals.
