    Keymaster

Scheduled for Sunday, 1 October 2023

    1. SITUATION

    Situation Time: 03:00L 1 October 2023

Lighting: Half-moon, first light at 05:00L

Weather: Clear skies and unlimited visibility.

The nation of Ravka is using Campbeltown Airport to launch sorties against its neighbouring nation of Geria.

The defence of Geria is in the US national interest, so limited operations against Ravka are authorised.

Zulu Company, Alpha Platoon, have been pre-deployed to Outpost Frank, deep behind enemy lines, but in the wilderness, and is tasked with raiding Campbeltown Airport and destroying as many key assets as possible, and escaping back to Outpost Frank

    Theatre

    A. Enemy Forces:

Ravka appears well prepared for assaults from the air, with an SA-20 site and several SA-19 systems; however, it seems less ready against a ground assault, with an almost entirely infantry force. Most of the garrison (approximately 70 men) is currently sleeping in the North of the base, with two-man patrols patrolling the perimeter; however, all guard towers are expected to be manned with searchlights, but only some with HMGs.

In order to provide some protection against assault from the sea, Ravka has deployed a minefield on the Western coast adjacent to the base with bounding mines.

There are some Vodniks, and one BTR-80A in the base can act as a QRF. However, they and the SA-19s are in low alert status, with their crews relaxing outside their vehicles.

The Ravka garrison is rear echelon troops with minimal night vision capability, with only a handful of NVGs between them.

Each type of asset is stored together in separate areas of the base. Two hanger areas house SU-34s, one for SU-25s, one for KA-52s, one for Mi-8s, and an area where Mi-6Ts land. There are also individual fuel and munition areas.

If there is a long-term engagement, then it is likely that the garrison in Campbeltown may become involved.
